The 30 Most Anticipated Movies of 2017

Then we were trying all these whacky ideas for heroics. Maybe he could use heroics from other Diablo heroes or some kind of angelic magic. What we found is that a lot of these things we tried felt forceful and destructive or weird. The feedback we’d get on his abilities is that this doesn’t feel like something Deckard would do. So, we kind of revisited a lot of t

The last matchup of the night. Université Laval has been a dominant force throughout the tournament, and they had no intention of slowing down with a shutout in the first match. However, University of Buffalo has earned their spot here in the Grand Finals proving that they were also a force to reckon w

Next on the list of champions with a “carry everyone else complex” is Zed. While being mechanically challenging, his overall strategy is pretty simple. He picks a single target, goes all in to kill them, and then blinks back to where it all started. I think this mix is what makes having a Zed on your team so frustrating. Most Zed’s you will play with think that because they can understand the strategy, they are skilled enough to follow up with the mechanics. This is rarely the case, which leads to many Zed players falling behind over the course of the game. This only exasperates the problem, because as they become relatively weaker to enemies and less able to play their assassin role, they will fail more often in their attempts to carry everyone else. It is still a team game and even the assassin characters have to learn to coordinate with their teamma

And yeah, I know these $60, AAA titles still have some greed to work through (like $10 DLC for Titanfall that’s just three maps), but it’s all manageable, and Dota 2 is still the only game to do free to play right. Beyond Dota 2, The Last of Us just had a completely free multiplayer map pack released for it. It can be done. All gamers want is a model that fosters mutually and equally beneficial purchasing. Give it to them.

Our first example on this list of a champion “that is always Wood V when on my team, but Diamond level when I face them.” He is very frustrating to play against, especially for those new to the moba game Team Composition. For new players who have yet to get a hang of looking at their mini-map, having an invisible character walk up to them and open fire can be very frustrating. League of Legends requires players to be skilled at their champion and to understand the threat level of every other champion in the game. Well, Twitch is one of the hardest to understand. Especially since his ultimate has a small visual cue change, but suddenly your entire team is being shredded. Then there is the fact that it will feel like when he is on your team, he will always pick the worst moments to come out of invisibility and you have to scramble to try to peel the enemy team off

Some interesting quick observations: Dwayne Johnson’s name keeps popping up, there are six hotly anticipated movies in March, before the traditional summer blockbuster season even begins, and there are more DC branded and Marvel Studios movies in theaters than any other y

Plants vs. Zombies 2 already has 10 “premium plants” for a total cost of more than $30 altogether, tax included. And that’s just plants. You can also pay for upgrades and in-game coins. To my knowledge, Plants vs. Zombies never went higher than $20 for the whole game, with no micro-transactions, so I can only assume PopCap is making a truckload off of this. Now I know people like to point out how less than 10 percent of people who play free-to-play games participate in micro-transactions. This makes it seem like the companies are doing what’s best for the player by offering a portion of their game for free, while only making a small chunk of change on the side to get by. It’s a compelling narrative that doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. This number conveniently leaves out how much money they’re actually making from those ten percent of people who want a full gaming experience.

Not all free-to-play models are bad; League Of Legends does it well with rotating champions and monetized skins that add customization but no significant advantage. Mobile games are known for particularly exploitative models, and psychologists have even made connections between particularly devious free-to-play games and gambling addicti

I don’t have many vivid memories of things I saw on my Facebook news feed, but this is one of them. I’m scrolling past updates from my friends who play League of Legends, and one post was about how a new champion added was so good. One of their friends commented “Is he worth?” to which my friend responded “So worth.”

Matt Villers: Deckard has been someone we’ve been wanting to do for awhile. It’s just a matter of how you actually approach that challenge because it is a big challenge. He is not a fighter; everyone else we bring in is these legendary warriors and they have battlefield experience. Deckard is the narrator, he’s the wise old man, he tells stories, he guides you on quests, he identifies your items, but you never see him fight. By looking at him, you don’t really expect him to be someone who would fi
