The final mission of Act 2 in Modern Warfare Zombies will have players deploy to an aether-infested region of Urzikstan to test a new device developed by Dr. Jansen, the Neutralizer. If successful, this device could be the first step towards stopping the spread of the aether storm plaguing Urzikstan. Players will need to secure the area in order to airdrop the device into the mission area, and safely escort it through the horde in order to complete Act 2 and take a step closer to stopping the infection in Modern Warfare Zombi
Any offensive armaments like the Mortar Strike can be excellent at quickly removing the Terminus forces around an extractor, just be careful not to get caught in the effect area. Throwable tactical and lethal equipment are also effective in this regard – when choosing between Epic tactical gear options, the Cymbal Monkeys or the Kazimir Device , the latter will pull the mercenaries into the blackhole effect , similar to zombies, making it more effective when dispatching a large group of Terminus goons . While the Cymbal Monkey does have an effective blast radius, the Mercenaries do not fall prey to the upbeat tune and will not gather around the explosion the way zombies would. Claymores and proximity mines can be useful at deterring recon assailants , but be cautious of proximity mine placement not to accidentally catch yourself in the blast if triggered by a mercenary. Thermite is also highly effective against groups and heavily armored troops like the shocktroop
With the Shepherd story mission active, players will want to deploy to Urzikstan and head to the marked exfil location on their tac-map . The exfil location will be easily identified with the same symbol as the Extraction story mission. Hovering over the icons will provide players with text confirmation of the proper story mission exfil. Players will want to consider acquiring most of the perks (if not all) in preparation for this story mission, which will task players with an extended escort mission requiring defense against a Mega Abomination boss monster. Additionally, Fps Game Tips at least level 2 Pack-a-Punch and rare or higher rarity is recommended before leaving Urziks
Fans of the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009) probably shouldn’t get their hopes up that its DLC maps will be added. Call of Duty previously explained that it has no plans to remaster the maps and add them to Modern Warfare
Quick Revive is also a huge help in situations where players get surprised by a surprise zombie or, in the worst cases, a surprise horde. Being able to disengage the mercenaries and quickly heal, dispatch the zombies and heal, then return to the mercenary fight, can be instrumental in completion of this contract. Additionally, the increased regeneration factor can be a literal life-saver when players are locked in place, disabling an extractor. Remember that players can lay down during this process, taking cover from most fire – as long as there is not a mercenary immediately behind the player. If players begin receiving damage while attempting to disable an extractor, laying down and letting Quick Revive work its magic can help players avoid interruptions in progress and having to start the hack from the beginn
Solo players should definitely consider Stamin-Up before attempting this contract – since solo players will find the most efficient way to complete this contract is to drop one inhibitor on all six spores in a circle then run back past the spores and destroy them. Solo players should try to avoid and corral the spawning horde rather than fight. Destroy all the spores and spawn the reward rift, letting the small aether burst from the rift destroy most of the chasing zomb
Once the sixth spore is destroyed, a reward rift will spawn, emitting a small aether blast that will eliminate some of the surrounding zombies. Be sure that all zombies are eliminated before attempting to claim the contract rewa
The moment players begin deploying inhibitors and damaging the spores, zombies and special enemies will spawn and begin to defend the area. Players will need to be prepared to hold the area while waiting for the inhibitors to destroy the protective shell, or run in a coordinated pattern with squadmates – be careful not to lead a train of zombies directly in the path of a teammate! A single inhibitor will t ake a few moments to destroy the shell , but multiple inhibitors can be deployed to decrease the waiting time . If three squadmates are able to simultaneously deploy inhibitors on the same spore, the shell will be destroyed almost immediately, allowing the spore to be completely destroyed in less than five seconds. This is a great strategy in larger teams, as players can quickly move from spore to spore, destroying a spore and eliminating any spawning zomb
When players are clear to approach the extractor, interact with the computer on board to begin the disabling process. Players will have to hold the input and the position for a few moments, so make sure all forces are down or squadmates are providing effective cover . Crouching or going prone is an option while disabling an extractor for extra cover (it appears progress stops when going prone, but when standing back up the progress bar displays properly). Players are free to look around during this time as well, assessing the threats nearby and determining next steps. Players will be stuck in place for a short moment once the extractor is disabled , but be ready to move – the extractor will soon detonate , dealing a large amount of damage in a short area. Don’t get caught in the blast rad
